Dressing comfy is a great way to get through the day—but sweat pants aren't always the most fashionable. Mix a comfy, solid color sweater with high waisted jeans and a fun, elegant piece of jewelry. You're comfy and cute at the same time!
Missions Statement: Clothes are an art of your personality. You create your clothes, how they match and they step into your view of life. Clothes help determine the mood of the day while showing how you feel in what you wear. Modest is hottest in our view of fashion.

My speech
I had to write a special occasion speech for speech class. I chose to do a tribute to my sister, Mel, and pretend that she just had a baby girl. Note that my sister is not married, pregnant, nor does she have children. So, that part is all fiction. But my feelings are not. I hope you all like this.
Thanks,
Amy
Thanks,

Special Occasion SpeechGood Afternoon! I wanted to start off by thanking everyone for coming to my sister, Melissa’s baby shower. I am Melissa’s little sister, Amy and I just wanted to say a few words to pay tribute to her. When we were younger, Melissa and I played softball and thought we were pretty much the best in the league. We had the whole set up in our backyard to practice. We had the pitching net, all of the equipment, uniforms, a huge backyard, and even bases! Our neighbors would come over and we would play till dark. We were set to make our dreams come true of being known!Out of the ten years we each played, we only were able to be on the same team once. It was my favorite year of playing softball, and also my last. I can remember that year as if it were just yesterday. We played at Osceola Little League, but one day in particular our team went and played at Harris little League. It was a chilly fall day and everyone in the stands was wearing long sleeves or sweatshirts. My sister drove us, so we did not actually have any parents with us. Our mom was really sick that year, so she could not make it to every game, or she would sit in the van. Anyway, during the game, there were runners on first and third while my sister was playing second base. The pitch was thrown and the runner from first took off. It was a strike, so the catcher threw the ball to second. Shortstop usually takes the base and second base gets behind as insurance to the shortstop. This time, however, as my sister went behind, the ball tipped the short stop’s glove and smacked straight into Melissa’s nose! Her nose broke on impact! I was in center field so I saw the whole thing and we were all in total shock.
My sister was an amazing person. She was my role model, my partner in crime, and my best friend. I wanted to do everything with her. That day at the softball field, the only thing that I wanted to do was to sit by her in the dugout and console her, but she pushed me away and made me keep playing in the game. The coach gave my sister his daughter’s long sleeve shirt and got it all bloody. His daughter was quite a snob and got mad because her shirt had blood on it, so she threw it away. She was definitely no the most liked on the team. Melissa was so strong that day considering both of our parents were not there and I was just her little sister who had no clue what to do. Melissa was a champion in my eyes.
Melissa, being your sister is a treat. I looked up to you so much then and I still do now. No matter how much we would fight, we would somehow be okay and start laughing just an hour later. You acted as a mom to me in so many ways and really looked out for me when mom was not able to. Though mom got really sick, you were always able to do what God had in store for you. Mom taught you well especially in that aspect and that is why I know that you will make an amazing mother. I have always been jealous of the relationship you and mom had and I know that she loved you more than anything. You looked up to mom and I look up to you, therefore I am still learning from mom, because I am learning from you. Even throughout the grief of mom’s death, you still managed to work, be a full time student, and trust in God. You are my role model and always will be!
You will make the most amazing mother; I mean we did learn from the best. Although, I honestly never thought you would have kids, mainly because you always swore that you would not have kids. Do not worry, though, I will be the best aunt to your daughter and spoil her as if she were my own. You are my best friend and you always will be! Just know that I am always here for you and that you are not alone! In honor of this moment, I want you to have my softball glove and softball. Use it to teach your daughter how to play. Softball does run in our blood you know. So here is a toast to the best sister a girl could ask for! Congratulations on having a beautiful baby girl.
Thank you.
I hope you all enjoyed my speech. Feel free to leave comments on anything that we post. Thanks for reading :)
Welcome to LIVMOD
Welcome to our blog spot! Lizzy and I (Amy) are so excited to be starting this blog for all of you and just for fun! Our Missions Statement is:
Clothes are an art of your personality. You create your clothes, how they match and they step into your view of life. Clothes help determine the mood of the day while showing how you feel in what you wear. Modest is hottest in our view of fashion.
We want to show everyone that being creative in what you wear is good! We want to give ideas and spark up the creative side in our readers. We want to prove that being Modest is hot and that it is actually fairly simple. Throughout this blog, we will post our favorite fashions, celebs, hairstyles, and just posts about our everyday lives. Life is good, but it is not easy, so we want everyone to see just how easy fashion can be! As we stated in our missions statement, Clothes are an art of your personality. This will be our main topic. Your personality shows through by the clothes you wear as well as how you are feeling for that day.
So, stay tuned for more posts from Lizzy and I.
Together, we make Lizzy Lein (Lizany).
This is LIVMOD (Live Modestly)
Thank you,
Amy
PS feel free to comment on anything that we post. We love feedback, encouragement, and constructive criticism. As my mom always told me "If you cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all" :)
